The competition authorities of Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, the Faeroe Islands and Greenland are engaged in regular co-operation.
At regular meetings of the Nordic competition authorities discussions are held concerning competition matters on a general level, as well as changes in legislation and regulations and individual cases, decisions and judgments of general relevance. In addition, discussions cover the operation of the competition authorities, swiftness of
procedure and results.
There are working groups operating in certain fields, and in addition annual work is performed on specialised projects assigned to working groups the results of which are published in reports issued by the Nordic competition Authorities. An example of such reports is the report on competition in the Nordic food market, which was issued in December 2005.
Also, an agreement is in effect between Denmark, Iceland and Norway on co-operation on competition matters.
