The participation of the Competition Authority in international competition is twofold:
- ICN (International Competition Network) is an international association of competition authorities. Meetings are held regularly, and in addition working groups on various aspects of competition meet separately. The Icelandic Competition Authority is a party to this co-operation. ICN website
- The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) has separate committees and working groups on competition matters. Also, the OECD conducts studies of the competition situation in individual member states. OECD website
