In connection with the public hearing on the competitive conditions in the fuel market, held at Harpa on 20 September 2016, the Competition Authority interviewed the following parties:Andreas Mundt, President of the German Federal Cartel Office and Chair of the Steering Committee of the International Competition Network (ICN)Severin Borenstein, Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, and Chair of a committee that advises the Californian government on competition in the fuel marketJoão E. Gata, an expert at the Portuguese Competition AuthorityJon Riley, Project Manager at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)
The meeting was held in connection with the Competition Authority's market research into the fuel market.
