Submission of Halo Ltd concerning alleged breaches of competition law by the Icelandic Meteorological Office

A submission was received from Halo Ltd, a high-tech company which
Developed a weather information system, due to the competitive barriers of the Icelandic Meteorological Institute.
The Competition Council directed the Met Office to ensuring that her contracts did not discriminate between parties with
different terms in similar transactions. This applies to that activity
The Met Office, which was considered to be in a competitive market where it was not subject to
special laws or rules concerning the authorisation or obligation for such acts. Then it was provided
on the financial separation at the Met Office.
