Merger of Vara ehf., Stekkur ehf. and Securitas hf.

The holding company Vari ehf., which is 100% owned by Laugulind ehf., is acquiring all shares held by Edda slhf. in Securitas hf. The parties to the merger are Vari ehf., Stekkur ehf. and Securitas hf. As for the activities of the merging parties, it should be noted that they operate in different markets. Their operations overlap to a small extent and the merger has little effect on the market for security services and/or other markets where the activities of the merging parties overlap.
