Purchase of Hotel Laki by Cabin ehf.

The Competition Authority approved the acquisition by Cabin ehf. of, on the one hand, all shares in Eignarhaldsfélagið Efri-Vík ehf. and, on the other hand, the operations and all assets of Hótel Laka ehf. The merging parties operate in the hotel accommodation market in South Iceland. The Competition Authority closed the case without further investigation in the first phase.
