Landsbanki Íslands hf.'s acquisition of Pizza Pizza ehf.

Landsbankinn took over Pizza Pizza, which has operated restaurants under the name Domino's. The merging parties agreed to comply with the conditions set out in the decision. These are detailed conditions, aimed at mitigating the distortion of competition that can arise from the bank's ownership of the company. Landsbankinn has agreed to comply with the conditions set out in the decision, by signing a settlement. Among the conditions is an obligation to sell Pizza Pizza as soon as possible. Furthermore, various conditions are stipulated which are intended to prevent potential coordination in the business strategies of companies under the control of Landsbankinn and to ensure that they continue to operate as independent competitors in the market.
