Hornsteinn ehf.'s takeover of BM Vallá ehf., Björgun ehf. and Sementsverksmiðjan ehf.

The holding company Hornsteinn ehf. has taken a majority stake in BM Vallá ehf., Björgun ehf. and Sementsverksmiðjan ehf., and now controls these companies. In light of potential competition concerns that the takeover could raise, the merger parties and the Competition Authority have entered into a settlement agreement designed to address such concerns.
