Merger of Kristins ehf. and Eva consortium ehf

This is a merger by way of a demerger, whereby the Kristinn ehf. group acquires a majority stake in Eva consortium ehf., and thereby in Sinnum ehf., due to a debt settlement. Eva consortium operates primarily in healthcare services. Prior to the merger, Kristinn ehf. held joint control of the company, but will hold sole control following the merger. The companies do not operate in the same markets and the merger does not appear to have any adverse effects on competition, so the case was closed at the first phase without further investigation.
