Purchase by Smiðjutorgs ehf of part of the assets from the bankruptcy estate of Kamba byggingarvara ehf

This decision concerns the purchase by Smiðjutorg ehf. of part of the assets from the bankruptcy estate of Kamba byggingarvara ehf. The companies operate, among other things, in the building materials market, in glass manufacturing and in sheet metal work. Smiðjutorg is a holding company owned by Stjörnublikks ehf., which owns and operates a sheet metal workshop.

Kambar was placed into liquidation on 2 April 2025, but the company's operations had previously been discontinued and it has been inactive ever since.
