The purchase by Klettagarðar ehf. of all shares in Áltaki ehf.

The operating company Klettagarðar ehf. acquired all shares in Áltak ehf. Áltak ehf. operates in the construction market. The owners of Klettagarðar ehf., and therefore of Áltak ehf., are also owners of other companies that operate in related markets. However, the companies' activities do not overlap to such an extent that the Competition Authority considers there to be indications that the merger will hinder effective competition. It is therefore the Authority's decision that there is no reason to take action regarding the merger.
