The acquisition by Digital Bridge Group Inc. of the idle telecommunications infrastructure of Sýn hf. and Nova hf.

The Competition Authority was reviewing the acquisition by the American investment fund Digital Bridge Group, formerly Colony Capital, of certain mobile phone network transmitter sites belonging to the telecommunications companies Síminn and Nova. Following the investigation, the Authority concluded that there were no grounds to intervene in the merger on the basis of the merger provisions of the Competition Act.
