Merger of Nova Acquisition Holding ehf. and Platínum Nova hf.

The Competition Authority reviewed the merger of Nova Acquisition Holding ehf. (NAH) and Platínum Nova hf., which are holding companies. Following the merger, the telecommunications company Nova hf. and the hotel operator Keahótel ehf. will be under the same control. As the merging parties' activities do not overlap and are in different markets, the Competition Authority did not see any grounds to take action regarding the merger.
