Daily penalties for Byrs Savings Bank's failure to provide information

As part of the Competition Authority's investigation into the merger of SPRON and Kaupþing, various information was requested from several parties, including Byr Savings Bank. The information was not received by the Competition Authority despite repeated requests. The Competition Authority therefore considered it necessary to impose daily fines on Byr Sparisjóður until the documents were received.
