Merger of Íslandsbanki hf. and Hringrás ehf.

The Competition Authority approved the merger of Íslandsbanki and Hringrás with conditions and a settlement, which mainly concerns Hringrás's competitive independence from Íslandsbanki, due to potential competition concerns regarding the takeover of a company in competitive markets by a commercial bank.
