Opinion of the Competition Authority on the Bill on the Agricultural Produce Act (producer organisations), matter 107 of the 156th Parliament

The Competition Authority refers to the request from the Committee on Economic Affairs for a report on the Bill on Agricultural Produce (Producer Organisations), matter 107 of the 156th Parliament. The Bill provides for the repeal of the amendments made to the Agricultural Produce Act by Act No. 30/2024, which granted meat processing plants extensive exemptions from the prohibition provisions of the Competition Act.
