Better regulation for business – an open meeting on the OECD's competition assessment

On 21 March, the Ministry of Industry-
and the Ministry of Innovation found
on the cooperation between the government and the OECD regarding the current regulatory framework for the tourism and construction industries. The project will be carried out in close cooperation with the Competition Authority, as well as other ministries and agencies.

At the meeting, Þórdís Kolbrún R. Gylfadóttir, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Innovation opening speech, but also speeches were given by Ulrik Vestergaard Knudsen, Deputy Secretary-General of the OECD, Páll Gunnar Pálsson, Director of the Competition Authority, and Ingólfur Bender, Chief Economist of the Federation of Icelandic Industries.
