The Competition Authority draws attention to the fact that a new independent expert has been appointed, whose role is to monitor compliance with the conditions of the settlement between the Competition Authority and Vodafone.
The expert is specifically tasked with following up on the provisions of the settlement agreement intended to facilitate the entry of new operators into the market. New operators, as defined by the settlement agreement, are permitted to seek the assistance and guidance of the expert in negotiations with Vodafone.
