The Competition Authority has moved its operations from Rauðarárstíg 10, where the institution has been based since it was established two years ago. The Competition Authority began its operations in the premises previously used by the Competition Authority and the Pricing Authority. The premises were unsuitable, so it was decided to find new and better premises for the Authority. Now, two years later, the authority has moved into new offices on the second floor of a new and impressive office building at 26 Borgartún.
