On 27 November, the Competition Authority published its report 'Robust Development – Opening Markets and Strengthening Business Activity'. The report was sent to numerous parties by email or letter; see the news item on the website. Competition Authority.

The report sets out over 90 ideas and proposals designed to remove or reduce barriers, thereby creating the conditions for more robust business activity and greater opportunities for entrepreneurs and innovative companies. The recommendations are aimed at both public authorities and businesses. They are based on an investigation by the Competition Authority and information from previous inquiries. The investigation has included, among other things, discussions with numerous companies, interest groups, public bodies and academics from the universities. Work on the report began immediately after the collapse of the commercial banks.
