
The Competition Authority has raised serious objections to a bill amending the Agricultural Produce Act, which proposes to introduce a punitive regime for certain operators intending to produce dairy products for Icelandic consumers. This is stated in a submission from the Competition Authority, which has been sent to the Fisheries and Agriculture Committee.
