The Business Council, LOGOS Law Firm, the University of Reykjavik and LEX Law Firm are organising a conference on dominant market position and the application of competition law next Thursday at Harpa. The conference will, among other things, discuss the remedies available to the Competition Authority and how they are applied, how breaches are assessed, and what is taken into account when determining penalties.
Páll Gunnar Pálsson, CEO of the Competition Authority, is among the keynote speakers and will discuss several key aspects of the Authority's enforcement of competition law. The presentation will also cover the tools available to the Competition Authority and how they are applied.
