The European Commission has fined the Polish telecommunications company Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. (TP) €127 million for abusing its dominant market position. TP's infringement consisted of preventing other competitors from accessing high-speed connections. The company has been doing this for more than four years. The Commission believes that TP's infringement was committed with the intention of distorting competition and has therefore fined the company €127 million.
