
Christine Meyer is head of the Norwegian Competition Authority. She holds a PhD in strategy, with mergers and acquisitions as her area of specialisation. Meyer has a background as a professor of strategy and is currently on leave from the Norwegian School of Economics. Meyer has also been a politician; she was a junior minister in the Ministry of Labour and Administration from 2001 to 2003 and commissioner for finance and then health from 2007 to 2010 in the Bergen city government.
