Commentary process – three new mergers

The Competition Authority has recently received notifications about
three new mergers which are now under investigation by the regulator. These are
Business of the following companies:

• The purchase by Síminn hf. of
  Billboard Ltd. et al. (merger register here)
• Merger of SREIII, Stefnis
  and Heimstaden (merger register here)
• The merger of Skeljar,
  Land letters, Styrkáss, Stólpa, etc. (merger register here)

The Competition Authority hereby grants to any person who
An interest or stake entitles one to submit reviews, comments
and/or viewpoints on the transaction, such as the impact of these mergers, position
markets and the functioning of competition in the relevant markets. Comments should be submitted to gogn@samkeppni.is  no later than 6th March.
