
The Competition Authority is looking to hire economics students for a summer position. The role offers the opportunity to take part in a variety of projects related to market analysis, data processing, and case preparation. Students will thus gain insight into how economic perspectives are used in the assessment of competition and decision-making within the public sector.
The role is particularly suitable for students who have completed their undergraduate degree or are well advanced in their studies in economics, and who have an interest in competition law, market analysis and public policy.
A summer job at the Competition Authority provides valuable experience of working within the civil service and gives students the opportunity to work with experts in the field of competition law.
