In 2015, the Competition Authority authorised Vodafone (now Sýn) and Nova to enter into a specific partnership for the operation of a mobile phone service distribution network, pursuant to decision no. 14/2015 . The company was unwilling to accept the collaboration, particularly with regard to the resulting shared use of frequency resources.
The Court of Appeal has today dismissed Síminn's claims and ordered it to pay the costs of the case. Previously, the Competition Appeals Board and the Reykjavík District Court had also dismissed Síminn's claims.
