The Competition Authority has published a report. No. 3/2012 „Corporate Restructuring 2012 – Rescued or Reanimated?“. The report is a follow-up to the regulator's previous report. No. 2/2011, Competition after the crash, which published the results of a study on the situation of 120 companies in key competitive markets. The main conclusion of the new report is that the banks' dominance over companies has been greatly reduced, but the high level of corporate debt is a cause for concern. This applies to both companies that have undergone restructuring and those that have yet to complete it. The report's findings were discussed in more detail in a press release published at the weekend.
