Merger of Norðlenska matborðið ehf., Kjarnafæði hf. and SAH afurðir ehf

The Icelandic Competition Authority examined the merger of Norðlenska, Kjarnafæði and SAH afurðir. It was the Authority’s assessment that the merger could lead to restriction of competition and the merging parties agreed with a settlement to certain commitments that are intended to prevent the harmful effects of the merger.
